Cory will be guiding you through the process step by step, using the cake-building metaphor to make the concepts easier to digest and apply in real-world scenarios.

Cory holds a BA in Law and Justice from Central Washington University, followed by an MS in Information Technology with a concentration in Data Science. His dedication to staying at the forefront of the industry is evident in his further achievements, having earned two certificates in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics and Incident Response.
Cory’s professional journey began in the criminal justice field, where he spent five years working in various roles, including law enforcement, juvenile corrections, CPS investigation, and private fraud and abuse investigations. This diverse background has provided him with a deep understanding of the intersection between legal frameworks and technological solutions.
