Data Privacy Week 2025: Events & Resources
International Privacy Day is recognized on Jan. 28 and WaTech is celebrating Privacy Week this year from January 27th to January 31st. Privacy week helps raise awareness about online privacy and reminds us to think about how we share our personal information.
To celebrate and recognize Privacy Week 2025, WaTech's Office of Data and Privacy Protection (OPDP) is focusing on AI, biometrics, and how we look at core privacy principles to help operationalize privacy with these new technologies. OPDP will host webinars and interviews that will help you catch up on the latest discussions around data privacy laws, principles, and new technologies.
