Progress to date - June 8, 2021:

  • Managed File Transfer Requirements workshops to capture customer agency requirements for RFP:
    • Customer Advisory Team (CAT) orientation - April 14, 2021
    • Requirements survey provided to CAT members April 15, 2021; closed April 28, 2021.
    • First CAT meeting - April 27, 2021.
    • Requirements Workshop #1 - May 10, 2021.
    • Requirements Workshop #2 - May 11, 2021.
    • Requirements Workshop #3 - May 12, 2021.
  • Requirements for RFQ reviewed and approved by CAT on May 20, 2021.

Next Steps:

  • First Steering Committee meeting scheduled for June 14, 2021.
  • Begin drafting and publishing RFP.

Overview:

The current service provider is under a constrained maintenance agreement and usage is forecasted to exceed capacity within the next two years. We are collaborating with state agencies to identify business and technical requirements for a new managed file transfer solution.

Objective 1: Define business & technical requirements.

Objective 2: Publish an RFQ.  

Objective 3: Complete Proof of Concept(s).

Objective 4: Select the solution.

Timeline:

  • Project Kickoff - March 11, 2021
  • Customer Requirements Workshops - May 10-14, 2021
  • Draft & Publish RFQ - May 14 - June 14, 2021
  • Proof of Concept - June 14 - November 1, 2021
  • Select a Solution - November 1 - December 1, 2021
