For customers with virtual servers in the Washington State Cloud, WaTech can provide flexible and professional support for your virtual servers. We currently provide technical support for Windows- and Linux-based operating systems. With Server Technical Support, we maintain your virtual server operating systems, which are hosted in our virtual infrastructure.

24/7 Managed Server Support $200.00 per server per month
Time to respond (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)  2 hours
Time to respond (after business hours and on weekends)  2-4 hours

Rate is based on the number of unique versus similarly configured servers.

WaTech’s Managed Server Support provides the following services:

  • Server Administration – Setup and maintain computer virtual server operating system, server updates and patching via Microsoft WSUS, server monitoring via VRealize operations Manager and Orion monitoring, works with NSX administrators to provide micro-segmentation, and troubleshooting OS-related issues.
  • Make recommendations on optimizing server performance and resource utilization.
  • Network Connectivity Support – maintain virtual network configurations; troubleshoot network issues and works with WaTech teams to resolve connectivity issues.
  • Network Tuning – Slow network access, file sharing problem, internet speed issues, random network outages, peer-to-peer access error or problem.
  • Provisioning and configuration of virtual servers.
  • Operating system installation, updates, automated patching and fixes.
  • 24/7 Orion Monitoring.
  • Vendor coordination for hardware and OS problems.
  • Network management services.
