Notice: applying this to your agency.
The IT Project Resources are not meant to replace your agency’s internal project management practices or prescribe how you must operate. Instead, they offer concepts and tools that can strengthen delivery by providing a scalable framework for project level coordination. All project documentation should be maintained throughout each stage in alignment with agency policies and, where applicable, WaTech requirements and oversight expectations.
Conduct a structured, technical review of the system’s foundational setup, including modules, parameters, business rules, and configuration logic, to ensure alignment with documented business requirements and WaTech enterprise architecture standards. This is where the project moves deeper into the technical readiness arena to validate before testing begins.
The outcome is a clear, enterprise‑level understanding of the technical workstream delivery health: what is working, what needs attention, and what must be resolved before integration testing, UAT, and go‑live readiness.
For Programs:
Consolidate technical readiness across all agencies and vendors. Provide program‑level observations and recommendations for mitigation or escalation.
For Programs with Agency‑Led Sub‑Projects:
Agencies submit their local technical readiness assessments, including unresolved issues and risks. The enterprise team synthesizes these into a program‑wide readiness summary.
For Projects:
Submit a project‑specific technical readiness assessment and confirm readiness to proceed to formal testing.
