S7: Training Content and Curriculum

Notice: applying this to your agency.

The IT Project Resources are not meant to replace your agency’s internal project management practices or prescribe how you must operate. Instead, they offer concepts and tools that can strengthen delivery by providing a scalable framework for project level coordination. All project documentation should be maintained throughout each stage in alignment with agency policies and, where applicable, WaTech requirements and oversight expectations.

The S7: Training Content and Curriculum task serves as a checklist companion to the S5 Training Plan. While the Training Plan establishes the strategy, scope, and approach for training, this S7 task focuses on the execution‑ready training materials that will be delivered to end users, program staff, and agency partners.

This stage ensures that all training content is:

  • Finalized and validated.
  • Accurate and aligned with system functionality.
  • Tailored to specific end‑user roles.
  • Consistent across agencies and sub‑projects.
  • Ready for distribution and deployment.

For Programs:

Validate enterprise training content for consistency and completeness. Confirm alignment with enterprise learning objectives.

For Programs with Agency‑Led Sub‑Projects:

Agencies finalize localized training content and delivery plans. Enterprise team reviews for consistency across agencies.

For Projects:

Finalize project‑specific training materials and confirm readiness for distribution.
