S9: QA Closeout Certification Summary

Notice: applying this to your agency.

The IT Project Resources are not meant to replace your agency’s internal project management practices or prescribe how you must operate. Instead, they offer concepts and tools that can strengthen delivery by providing a scalable framework for project level coordination. All project documentation should be maintained throughout each stage in alignment with agency policies and, where applicable, WaTech requirements and oversight expectations.

This task provides final quality assurance confirmation that post‑go‑live activities meet required standards. Agencies, programs, and projects document QA findings, verify that stabilization activities have been completed, and confirm that the system is ready for long‑term operations. The goal is to provide a formal QA closeout certification that demonstrates compliance with oversight expectations and validates that quality requirements have been met as part of Stage 9. Provide final QA confirmation that post‑go‑live activities meet quality standards.

For Programs:

Compile a consolidated QA closeout certification for oversight review.

For Programs with Agency‑Led Sub‑Projects:

Agencies submit oversight (e.g., QA vendor) closeout documentation. Enterprise team synthesizes into a unified certification memo.

For Projects:

Submit project‑specific QA closeout certification.
