We want to thank everyone who took part in this year’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month Campaign during October. Nearly 1,000 state employees participated, attending about 2.5 events each on average.
They had a lot of activities to go to, including an in-person escape room, online quiz games and more than a dozen presentations by cybersecurity and privacy experts.
The Washington State Transportation Commission took the top prize for participation this year with the largest proportion of its staff attending events out of all other agencies!
A team from the Washington State Patrol (Passwrod123) won the escape room competition with an incredible time of 13 minutes and 17 seconds.
And an employee from the Employment Security Department won first place in the Cybersecurity Quiz competition with a score of 51,826!
All the presentations have been archived online for future viewing including Jack Potter’s Cyberbytes!
