The COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging for everyone. However, I am cheered by early signs that conditions are improving in Washington state. Gov. Jay Inslee recently announced his Safe Start plan, a data-driven approach to reopening the state's economy in the coming days and weeks.

Thank you for playing this year's Hacktober quiz! Overall, the game garnered more than 23,000 responses from state employees during the month.

The Hacktober campaign was aimed at raising awareness for Washington state's 65,000 employees and encouraging conversation about the role everyone plays to safeguard public data, and protect critical services.
